A Self Esteem, Is It Really Needed ?

Developing self esteem is defference from each people, it’s depends on their willingness and their abilities. Depending on others for developing self esteem is taking our power and handing it to everyone else that we come into contact with. Some times we talk about our self, and on average, we always describe it in a negative question like this “why I’m not goot enough ?” or “why they don’t like me ?” … or why …
If we are always putting ourself down like this, it’s time to be tough to develop our self esteem.
So How Can We Develop Our Self Esteem?
Developing self esteem is just like developing a positive attitude. The easiest way to begin developing self esteem is to figure out where you are now. What negative self talk are you using? Carry a notepad with you over the next 2-3 days. Over that time, do your best to pay attention to your thoughts. Write down every negative thought you observe going through your mind. I think you’ll be amazed at the list you end up generating.
Start Questioning Our Beliefs.
Once we have our list, we are going to go through each item on that list and start questioning our self talk. This is critical to developing self esteem. The point of the exercise is to learn to question our self talk and make a habit of doing it. What we think isn’t always true. If you do run into a thought that is true, stop focusing on the negative and start looking for solutions by asking “How can I…?” or “What can I do to change this?” By questioning our thoughts, we activate our brain to start looking for solutions instead of staying focused on the problem. The more often we question our thoughts, the sooner it will become a habit for us. It’s better to have a habit of questioning our self talk than to just let it run unchecked.
Start Imprinting A New Positive Attitude About Ourself.
As we start questioning our negative self talk, we also want to start purposefully feeding our mind with positive thoughts. This is another critical step to developing self esteem. Take the list we made earlier and rewrite each item down the left side of a new sheet of paper. Then on the opposite side, list the thought we would prefer to have about ourself.
For example, if we wrote I’m so stupid on the left side, we might write something like I am so clever. Our new list is going to be a list that we have to use. Both of these tools are important for developing self esteem. We want to start blitzing our mind every day with positive thoughts and images about ourself. Over time, these phrases and images will start to become imprinted on our mind. In turn, our mind will believe them to be true and thus get to work on our behalf to help make our external reality match our new internal beliefs.
Pick some items from our list that we would like to work on changing first.
If we are agree that changing must go on, don’t be realize all of our list, pick some of it first and realized it daily. Take a few minutes every evening to review our daily effort and write down anything that went our way that day. The point of the exercise is to start focusing our mind on things that went well for us. After doing this exercise for a few days, our mind will automatically start looking for things throughout the day that we can put into our journal that evening. Keep our effort up because we have started training our brain to look for success instead of just focusing on failure and negativity.
Some Final ThoughtsBe patient and gentle with ourself as we work on developing self esteem. Sometimes change can happen overnight, but often it takes time. We have probably been using negative self talk for many years and it will take time to change that. Try not to get down on ourself or give up if we don’t see immediate results. This will only prevent us from creating self esteem.

Children Learn What They Live

If a child lives with criticism,he learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility,he learns to fight.
If a child lives with fear,he learns to be apprehensive.
If a child lives with pity,he learns to feel sorry for himself.
If a child lives with ridicule,he learns to be shy.
If a child lives with jealousy,he learns what envy is.
If a child lives with shame,he learns to feel guilty.
If a child lives with encouragement,he learns to be confident.
If a child lives with tolerance,he learns to be patient.
If a child lives with praise,he learns to be appreciative.
If a child lives with acceptance,he learns to love.
If a child lives with approval,he learns to like himself.
If a child lives with recognition,he learns that it is good to have a goal.
If a child lives with sharing,he learns about generosity.
If a child lives with honesty and fairness,he learns what truth and justice are.
If a child lives with security,he learns to have faith in himself and in those about him.
If a child lives with friendliness,he learns that the world is a nice place in which to live.
If you live with serenity, your child will live with peace of mind.
With what is your child living?
